1). I think Taliban will not release him because the mother needs him so much and they know that the mother love her husband and needs him to work cause he is the only male and the only one to work the rest of them can't work.If I were in her shoses I won't use all the things in the house safe some till the father come back and work.
2). I think she stop take care of the family is because she feels sad and don't want to do any work in the book it said "mom is sleeping"(chapter:4 page:49),she was sleeping the hold time.She does not feel like her self. If I was parvana I wont feel sad and feel like she needs to take charge of the family cause told her father told her take care of the family and she thinks this is the time to step up and help the family cause in the book "take care of the others" (chapter:2 page:31) and that made her feel like she had to give them a hand.
